Raglan Girls Fight Back

Following their defeat last week in the cup, the girls showed their strength and determination to see off a Carterhatch side with three first half goals. Tila scored the opener with a tap in after brilliant work by Ellie down the right wing and a low cross into the box. Ellie scored the second directly from a corner kick and Georgia scored her first goal for Raglan with a long range effort! In the second half, the girls continued their hard work, with fantastic passing and movement with and without the ball - just what the coach ordered! Rachel, who had had a quiet first half produced some good saves and accurate distribution of the ball in the second half. Amy, Mel and Ochea controlled the middle of the field and passed the ball superbly. Added to this, Chelsea and Mia bossed the defence and rarely allowed their opponents a sniff at goal.
A great display and back to winning ways for the girls - well done!!
